The Path to Progressive Decentralization

We define progressive decentralization as a deliberate, stepwise process towards full empowerment of our community members. This journey begins with a core team guiding the collective and gradually transitions to a community-driven governance model. Key phases include:

Phase 1: Establishing Foundations

• Core team leads product development with community input.

• Community Treasury remains dormant.

• Initial governance experiments with minor proposals.

Phase 2: Growth and Community Engagement

• Key product decisions begin to be made through formal governance processes.

• Community input in managing the ecosystem fund.

Phase 3: Full Community Governance

• Formal amendment process for product adjustments and Treasury management.

• Full community engagement in proposals related to the Community Treasury.
